  INTENDED AUDIENCE

Nurses, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, doulas, dietitians, midwives, physicians and all persons working

with breastfeeding mothers will find the information

presented at this conference to be beneficial in their practice.  The conference also

is an opportunity for peers in the maternal/child health field to network.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

We are currently working on submitting continuing education credits for:

            American             Dietetic Association

      International Board of Lactation

Consultant Examiner

  Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA)

BABIES

Because of the professional nature of this offering, quiet infants under

the age of 6 months are welcome. However, restless

infants will require immediate attention

outside the meeting room

as a courtesy

to other participants

and for the comfort

of the baby. Some mothers find it easier to fully participate

in the

education sessions by bringing a support person to provide

baby care outside the meeting rooms.
